Balogun is a full-stack engineer with over eight years of hands-on experience building and operating web applications and production systems. He provides technical leadership across multiple AI-driven products, guiding projects from scoping to deployment while ensuring engineering work aligns with product and business priorities.

He standardises engineering practices, including branching strategies, code reviews, PR templates and CI/CD pipelines, to reduce regressions and speed releases. Segun works closely with product and business leads to prioritise features against revenue goals, mentors team leads and mid-level engineers on API design, service boundaries and performance, and supports production rollouts and performance optimisation.

Previously, as Engineering Lead at All-Tech Systems, he led a migration to a scalable Node/NestJS backend and modern React/Next.js front ends, supervised full-stack teams building internal and client platforms, and introduced Git workflows and task tracking to improve delivery predictability. His technical toolkit includes React, Vue, Node.js/Express, Laravel, MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
