The real failure in many AI rollouts is not that employees refuse to use the system. It is that they learn to use it too well, in the wrong way.
That is the uncomfortable truth sitting inside your adoption dashboard. The brief in your uploaded document points to a pattern that many leaders still miss: the change programme built to increase confidence in AI can quietly train people to stop trusting their own judgment.
It usually starts with a sensible scene. A claims processor sees an AI recommendation and notices something off. Her experience tells her the pattern does not fit.
She overrides the machine and escalates the case. Then her manager opens the performance dashboard and sees a poor AI acceptance score. The message is gentle, but firm. Trust the system more. Stop slowing things down. Be a better adopter.
After a few of those conversations, the processor learns the lesson that matters most in the organisation. Not that the AI is always right. Not that human judgment still has a place.
She learns that agreement is safer than doubt. Three months later, a stream of bad decisions moves through the workflow, and everyone is surprised by a problem the frontline staff had already noticed.
Or a common case found in many loan approval teams, where analysts begin by reading the AI risk score before reviewing the file.

The change programme that creates deference

What the dashboard hides

A better AI programme would train judgment, not obedience
